On July 3, 2023, the St. Francis County Sheriff Department responded to a possible Residential Burglary at 7780 Highway 306-E in Colt, Ar.  The owner of the property reported that he had been having trouble with someone breaking into his vacant house and when he went to check on the property this morning, he located a white Jeep Liberty parked inside the shop that did not belong there.  After deputies arrived, they did not find anyone in the vehicle or the shop.  Deputies checked the residence and found a white male later identified as 38-year-old Mark Burmingham of Colt, Ar. coming out of the back bedroom only wearing his underwear.  Burmingham was taken into custody without incident.  The Sheriff Department would like to thank the Arkansas Game & Fish with their assistance.  Burmingham is charged with Residential Burglary and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Burmingham appeared before the judge on July 3, 2023, and his bond was set at $25,000.
