The Interstate Interdiction Unit consists of seven (7) specially trained Deputies assigned to work Interstate 40. The primary purpose of this unit is to stop criminals in transit on our Interstate and address traffic issues along I-40 in St Francis County. This unit assists other local law enforcement agencies in the detection and apprehension of drug traffickers and other criminal offenders that utilize the roadways of Arkansas as well as assisting CID with criminal investigations involving drug activity.
