Interstate Interdiction makes "Crystal Ice" Bust on I-40

Money Crystal Meth and other items confiscated.

St. Francis County Deputies Heath Reynolds and Eugene Watlington confiscated 1.43 pounds of "crystal ice" valued at approximately $300,000 during a traffic stop on I-40 today. Jesus Flores age 28 of Pasaden, Texas was driving a blue Dodge Caravan  and Samuel Perez age 21, also of Pasaden, Texas was a passenger in the vehicle. The vehicle was traveling west bound, when Deputy Reynolds noticed that Mr. Flores windshield was cracked and made a traffic stop. The suspects were acting suspicious and a search of the vehicle uncovered a bag with the crystal ice. Mr. Flores was also carrying $3,529.00 on his person. Both men were charged with on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and are being held in the St. Francis County Jail.
