Heth Man Faces Several Charges Including Leaving Scene of Accident

Charles Chadwick 37-years-old of Heth, AR. was arrested on charges of Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Accident, a Class D Felony, Battery 2nd Degree, a Class D Felony and Aggravated Assault, a Class D Felony.  On June 22, 2024, deputies responded to the Shell Lake Motel where an individual reported that he had been beaten up on the side of the road on Highway 70-West.  The victim reported that he and Chadwick got into a verbal altercation and the victim left walking.  The victim reported that Chadwick then drove up behind him striking him with his vehicle knocking him to the ground.  Chadwich reportedly then got out of his vehicle and began striking the victim several times with his fists and then drove off.  Due to the victim injuries, he was transported to Regional One in Memphis and has since been released but has on-going medical procedures for his injuries.  Chadwick bond was set at $25,000 and has bonded out and his next court date is July 1, 2024.
