Colt Woman Arrested for Possession of Fentanyl
On Tuesday, a deputy stopped a white Ford Ranger pickup truck for driving over into his lane of traffic and for no license plate on County Road 1003 which is off Hwy 306-E. The driver was identified as Angela Schlater, 49-years-old of Colt, Arkansas. A driver license checked showed that Schlater had a suspended driver license. Schlater was arrested and taken into custody for the suspended driver license. A search of the vehicle revealed a small bag of marijuana, a glass container that contained a crystal substance which tested positive for fentanyl, along with a glass smoking pipe. Schlater is charged with Possession with Purpose to Deliver, Fentanyl, Possession of a Controlled Substance Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Drive on a Suspended Driver License, Fail to Pay Vehicle Registration, and No Vehicle Insurance. Schlater is scheduled to appear before the judge tomorrow.
