The St. Francis County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the brutal murder of Marcal Tye of Forrest City. The body of Marcal Tye’s was found Tuesday, March 8, on Hwy. 334, east of Forrest City. Preliminary reports indicate that Tye died from a single gunshot wound to the head and blunt trauma caused when his body was run over and dragged underneath a vehicle.
