Donterrio Webster 18-years-old of Brinkley, Ar. was arrested by Brinkley authorities without incident yesterday.  This case stems from an incident that occurred back on July 8, 2023, during the early morning hours, in Palestine.  Palestine Fire Department and SFC Deputies responded to a vehicle crash and a car fire. Investigators determined through the homeowner's surveillance video that a vehicle pulled in front of the residence where a male got out and was breaking into a truck parked in the driveway.  The homeowner came out and hollered at the individual who ran back to the vehicle, and it took off toward a dead-end street.  The vehicle then drove back by the residence and began shooting and the homeowner shot back.  The driver hit a culvert and crashed and caught fire. Both occupants were able to get out of the car and the homeowner kept them there until police arrived. Neither of the parties were injured from the gun fire but the two received injuries from the crash.  Webster was found to be in possession of ammunition at the time.  The vehicle Webster was in was also reported stolen out of Brinkley prior to this incident.  Webster faces charges of Breaking or Entering, Aggravated Assault and Theft by Receiving.  He is scheduled to appear in SFC District Court today to have a bond set.  The homeowner faces no charges.
