On Friday, June 9, 2023, at approximately 7:52pm 32-year-old Jonathan Walton Paulman, a white male, 6 foot 1, weighing approximately 245 pounds was observed leaving the St. Francis County Detention Center driving an unmarked white four door truck belonging to the county jail.  On Saturday evening around 8:30pm the Cross County Sheriff Department located the vehicle that was left abandoned parked in a rural wooded area three miles south of Highway 64 just off the levee.  Paulman was last seen wearing a white tank top shirt and gray sweatpants. Paulman was currently in jail on 1st Degree Murder charges stemming from a December homicide of last year where the victim was burned and buried in a shallow grave in St. Francis County, Ar.    

The St. Francis County Sheriff Department is asking anyone with information on Jonathan Paulman whereabouts is asked to call 633-2611 all calls will be confidential.
