St. Francis County is located in East Central Arkansas, approximately 40 miles from the Mississippi River Bridge and Memphis, Tennessee, located on Interstate 40.

We are very proud of our heritage, having been first discovered by Hernando DeSoto in the early 1500s. We are primarily agricultural related, having some of the richest farmland in the world to raise our cotton, soy beans, rice, wheat and corn. We also have peach orchards with the sweetest tasting peaches you'll ever find anywhere.

Our population is around 30,000 with 610 square miles of area.
